Going large at Sydney Build Expo 2023

We kickstarted the new year with attendance at one the largest construction industry events on the calendar

This year marked our second attendance at Sydney Build and for 2023 we went even bigger, with a larger stand, a full height turnstile and a half-height turnstile on display. We also introduced an over-sized touchscreen kiosk that showcased Simpel's software on an interactive screen.

Yes, we design, our own gate hardware AND construction management software

Many of the people we met had walked through our gates but some hadn't realised we also operate the tech that sits behind it. We could say that this is almost by-design - the connection between our gates and site access software is designed to be swift, effective and so smooth it's unnoticeable.

We're a bit of an industry unicorn - delivering site access harmony via a seamless union of software and hardware

First and foremost we are a provider of development and construction software - that is our bread and butter. We cover document management and comms, safety, quality and a more extensive range of functionality that spans the project lifecycle. (Here's our full platform overview)

But we are also the only Australian provider of construction management software and proprietary gate hardware, which makes us somewhat of an industry unicorn. Designed to be used together, our gate hardware and site access software receive site entry requests and process approvals/rejections within milliseconds, faciliating tens of thousands of site entries/exits every day.

This ensures site access is seamless and only approved and inducted workers are permitted on site. That accounts for our apparent invisibility at site access points on construction worksites!! (More info can be found here)
