Sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest difference in our client’s day to day use of Simpel’s software and we listen when they share feature requests and feedback with our team.
For the latest release, Simpel delivered a range of customisation, process standardisation and workflow enhancements to Plant pre-start eforms, Incident approvals, Permits and Reporting. This functionality includes real time savers such as automated notifications, alerts and standardised forms that make it easier to customise the software to your company's processes, to get workers using your set workflows, and to reduce time spent in admin.
Permit daily sign off
The new Permit Daily Sign Off functionality serves as a recurring touch point for subcontractors to confirm that all permit conditions are maintained for the duration of the permit. When enabled, authorised workers are automatically prompted to sign on and sign off daily. If not completed, the missing sign off is highlighted to get the attention of your project team
Obtain a visual overview of incidents showing volume and frequency by a range of categories such as injury type, project and HSE actions. The dashboard reporting functionality also becomes a valuable tool to assist in audits.
Incident Approval
You can now implement hold points and a pre-approval process for specific incident classifications. This prevents incidents from being raised under the wrong classification and provides excellent visibility for the relevant personnel to monitor incidents. Once approved, the incident details can be filled out by the project team.
Plant pre-start eForm
In addition to the default template, you can now add custom eForms for plant pre-starts. This gives you the certainty that regardless of who initiates the pre-start, whether the plant owner, the project team, or additional owner organisations, they follow a standardised procedure in line with your organisation plant pre-start requirements. Incorrect or flagged responses notify your team in real time as to the issue with the prestart and requires your approval to use the plant.
Sub-subcontractor relationships
Simpel now allows you to link the relationships between subcontractors taking part in your project. This means your project team can easily distinguish which organisations work as a direct subcontractor and those hierarchical subcontractors.
Enhanced organisation report
Company data about the organisations on your project can be exported into a pre-formatted csv file for ease of review. This is a convenient way to examine the key organisations, induction history, their insurances, primary contacts and any sub-subcontractor relationships.
